  • Support financial performance: Ensure commercial proposals are transparent, profitable and aligned with customer requirements, including appropriate financing and residual value arrangements.

  • Monitor market opportunities: Maintain a strong understanding of industry trends, competitor activity and customer investment plans to identify opportunities for growth.

About YouTo be successful in this role, you will be an accomplished sales professional with significant experience in key account management and a strong understanding of the construction equipment or capital goods market.

You will ideally bring:

  • 10–15 years' experience in sales and marketing, with at least five years in a key account management role within the UK market.

  • A proven track record of winning new business, developing strategic accounts and delivering sales growth within a B2B environment.

  • Experience in construction equipment, heavy machinery or a related capital equipment sector.

  • An established network within one or more of the following sectors: quarry and aggregates, waste and recycling, major contractors or equipment rental.

  • Strong commercial and financial acumen, including knowledge of asset finance, operating leases, residual values, full-service contracts and total cost of ownership.

  • The ability to negotiate complex commercial agreements and present confidently to senior customer stakeholders.

  • Experience managing tenders, RFQs, quotations and structured sales processes.

  • An entrepreneurial mindset, with the drive to identify opportunities, build relationships and convert prospects into profitable business.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, organisational and negotiation skills.

  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
